THE ASPIRE Foundation is a 501c(3), non-profit entity created for the purposes of providing training methods and educational materials to athletes, coaches, and parents to help reduce sports injury. Specifically, we hope to reduce the incidence of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries in female athletes and reduce elbow and shoulder injuries in young ptichers. A secondary purpose is to teach coaches, parents, and athletes the necessary training techniques so that they may be empowered to help each other.
The MISSION of ASPIRE is to provide athletes, parents, and coaches with proper training methods and educational materials to help minimize sports injures, encourage proper strength training techniques, and to empower athletes to educate each other. Furthermore, ASPIRE will promote a life-long commitment to a safe, active lifestyle in a positive, uplifting environment.
The VISION of ASPIRE is to provide injury reduction training and educational materials to any school, organization, or youth team in the underserved areas of the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural communities. ASPIRE will be an incubator for research and outcomes on youth injury prevention methodology.
